CEBU PACIFIC TO STRENGTHEN FLEET WITH 21 NEW AIRCRAFT
“Cebu Pacific, a major low-cost airline, has raised the number of newly added aircraft for 2023 from the initial 15 to 21. Due to delays in the delivery of replacement engine parts, six out of their existing aircraft are currently out of service, leading to constrained operational conditions and flight reductions.
As of the end of July, the company has already increased its fleet by nine aircraft, with the most recent addition being an Airbus A321neo on July 27.
Out of the 21 new aircraft, 17 are planned to be Airbus neo models, and the company aims to transition all of its aircraft to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF)-powered Airbus planes by 2028.”
