For anime lovers out there who are planning to come to Japan, here are famous places featured in your favorite anime that you can visit when you come to Tokyo.

The famous stairs in Your Name (君の名は)

When Your Name was released, instantly, the stairs where Taki and Mitsuha saw each other became an iconic place for anime lovers. Everyone was visiting the stairs near Suga shrine recreating their own Taki-Mitsuha moment.

Next is HARAJUKU for Jujutsu Kaisen. Meiji Shrine and Takeshita Dori is often seen in this anime. 

Lastly, the iconic TOKYO TOWER. It has been featured in animes like Doraemon, Magic Knight Ray Earth and Detective Conan.

If you’re a passionate Haikyu anime fan and don’t mind traveling a bit, you can visit Kamei Arena in Sendai. This is the venue where the volleyball competition depicted in the anime took place. They even have a monument featuring Hinata and Tobio, making it a significant tourist attraction for anime enthusiasts.
