The Kyushu Tourism Organization (Fukuoka City) announced on the 15th that for the first time, Kyushu has been selected as one of the “Top 10 Places to Visit in 2024” published by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) this month.

According to the organization, Kyushu was the only place selected in Japan and praised for the opening of a luxury hotel and JR Kyushu’s new sightseeing train, which has expanded the scope of tourism. A representative from the organization said, “In the future, we would like to work with overseas travel agencies to further communicate the charms of Kyushu.”
