According to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), the total number of passengers using Manila Airport during the January-September period of this year was 33.76 million, exceeding the 30.94 million for the whole of 2022.

The number of passengers in 2023 is expected to reach 45 million. The number of takeoffs and landings during the same period was 206,050, an increase of 31% from the same period last year, and the on-time performance rate improved to 80% in September.
