Just a week after the Sinulog Festival, Cebu City played host once again to another big event: the 1st Anniversary Ride of the Philippine Motorcycle Tourism (PMT). Spearheaded by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, the PMT anniversary gathered various motorcycle clubs, including 470 riders, from all over the Philippines for a 54km ride that passed through the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway.

The opening ceremony was attended by DOT Undersecretary Myra Paz Abubakar, TPB Chief Operating Officer Marga Nograles, and PMT Ambassadress Jet Lee. The event was also supported by DOT Region 7; the Province of Cebu including the Municipality of Cordova and the Local Government Units of Cebu City, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu; the Philippine National Police; Land Transportation Office; and IL Corso Lifemalls.
